First Home Buyer Loans Rise 6.8%

New first home buyer loan commitments increased 6.8 per cent in the December 2025 quarter to 31,783 loans, according to data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics on 11 February 2026. This is the highest quarterly volume in approximately four years.
