The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for parts of the North Tropical Coast, Tablelands and Peninsula districts, with heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding as Tropical Low 29U approaches the Queensland coast. Six-hour rainfall totals of 80–160 mm and 24-hour totals of up to 350 mm are possible in affected areas.
